“It has been a long time coming but it is great to finally have Juniclei Miranda back onboard with the Komets organization,” said Dave Davis, Komets-River Plate President.  “Junior, as we call him, had assisted us several years ago in trying to help build our travel program and then left to assist in other areas of the state.  With our expansion in joining River Plate of Indiana and our club needing a new DOC it has worked out perfect for both organizations.  Junior and I have stayed in touch throughout the years and I have always respected his opinion on soccer and it’s growth.  With the creation of Komets-River Plate Soccer, we feel it’s a perfect fit for us to bring him back to Mooresville.  I am very pleased to be working with Junior again and look forward to such a great advancement of soccer in our area. “

“We are very excited to have Junior (Miranda) a part of our new partnership as the Komets-River Plate DOC,” said Ricardo Juncos, Komets-River Plate Chief Operating Officer. “The amount of experience he has within the Indiana soccer community and the passion he has for soccer is extremely valuable for us as a team. Junior is very dedicated to his players, which is very important in our players development in their growth both on and off the field. I am looking forward to the chance to work with Junior and watch our Komets-River Plate organization grow.”
